A NEW HARMONY
by John Philip Newell
A New Harmony is Newell's latest book published last year. I've had it on the stack of 'to reads' for awhile, but was anxious to begin as I have loved the author's Celtic spirituality and approach to God, religion, and its application to our lives. In our current world, plagued with wars, divisions, and an intense polarization, both between peoples and between ourselves and the natural world, we need to seek that harmony between us all. The 'Key Word' approach helps me focus on important concepts within each chapter, all blended with the intertwined celtic knots - a reminder that all of life is indeed interwoven, whether we like it or not!Prayers for the day are contained within the key word. A short 'twitter length' poem accompanies each, some phrases of which are direct quotes from the book.
